Hope for Life Mission

Hope for Life provides mental health, recovery, communication, and suicide prevention education. By decreasing stigma associated with mental health disorders, people are more likely to seek treatment, help others, and be advocates.

We accomplish our mission in several ways. Hope for Life’s programs include workshops, and presentations to corporations, organizations, clubs, schools, and universities. Our topics include  suicide prevention, anti-bullying, recovery and wellness programs, compassionate communication and consequences of trauma.

Hope for Life also produces educational events and coordinates with local and national partners.  These programs are open to families, parents, students, caregivers, and individuals.

Hope for Life Coaching offers family peer support, life choices and direction, relationship and communication strategies, and learning about mental health education and recovery programs.

What our workshop participants are saying

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) has made a big difference in my life and my family. Before NAMI I felt alone, disconnected and confused. I understand my mentally ill son much better which has helped me to deal with him more effectively. For the first time in many years through NAMI I have a group of people that really understand what it's like to have a mentally ill family member.

The mutual support is wonderful.
